PHILIP ISAAC

Philip is a highly skilled and compassionate psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals overcome various challenges through evidence-based therapy modalities. With a Master of Divinity in clinical counseling, he has the education and experience necessary to provide effective, customized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of his clients.

 

Philip’s career journey began in South Sudan, where he coordinated relief and development initiatives to assist individuals affected by armed conflict. During his tenure, he established rehabilitation programs to help residents overcome the aftermath of war.

 

His extensive humanitarian and social work background has honed his skills in handling complex trauma and emotional difficulties, making him an asset to his clients.

 

As a duly Registered Clinical Counselor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Philip has over a decade of experience in coaching, counseling, social work, and humanitarian aid. He provides high-quality counseling and therapy services to the community, drawing on his expertise to facilitate the needs and goals of his clients.

 

Philip employs a range of therapeutic approaches, including client-centered therapy, systems approach, Bowen Systems Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. He specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), and Focusing-oriented psychotherapy and is skilled in providing customized treatment for individuals and couples.

 

Philip believes that therapy is a collaborative process, and he works closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that suit their unique needs and goals. He is dedicated to helping clients achieve lasting change and greater fulfillment and meaning.
