As a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist, Dr. John Gamal is a member of Arab Board of Psychiatry and a member of the Egyptian Association of Group Therapies and Processes and enrolled in their Group Therapy Diploma program. He received clinical training at Al-Rakhawy/Dar Al Mokattam for Mental Health Hospital. Having been trained in multiple modalities of therapy, he mostly utilizes different techniques in therapy varying from Humanistic/Gestalt approach, Four-Step Integrative Model of Psychotherapy and Psychodynamic approaches, depending on the client’s needs to overcome their mental, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.

Dr. Gamal believes that therapy should be tailored to each client’s subjective experiences of psychological difficulties.
